    Dave Blakey founded Snapt in 2012 and currently serves as the company’s CEO.

    Dave has evolved into a leading expert on DevOps, hyper-scale and programmability with deep domain expertise in high performance network systems, management, security solutions, and on-demand hyper-scale in an increasingly complex, fragmented and rapid changing environment.

    He is a passionate advocate for advancing South Africa’s start-up ecosystem and expanding the global presence of the country’s tech hub.

    Co-CEO and CCO

    Douglas Cherry is currently a partner at 4Di Capital. Doug brings 10 years of substantial VC and angel investor experience including various directorships within the 4Di Capital portfolio as well as external companies.

    Prior to joining 4Di Capital, Douglas served as group controller at 4Di Group, a holding entity for various technology and non-technology based businesses. During his tenure, he held financial management and operations responsibilities for four 4Di Group companies, including ESET Southern Africa and Meaka Group International.

    Previously, he was a financial analyst for all European operations of multinational sportswear retailer Foot Locker, headquartered in the Netherlands.
