Snapt Premium Deployment Service

Snapt will install and configure a single or high availability (HA) Snapt system that is ready to meet the customer’s requirements and is production-ready. Snapt will also assess and optimize the customer’s system performance, security posture, and threat exposure. This service reduces the load on the customer and ensures the customer sees the most benefit from their Snapt system.

Snapt engineers will follow our established best practices, and our resources and expertise will ensure high performance and minimized disruption when deploying the customer’s Snapt system.

Note: Services are scoped and priced based on the number and type of Snapt systems, and whether the customer requires high availability (HA).

Discovery and Assessment

  • Snapt will hold planning workshops with the customer so that we understand the customer’s goals and requirements, the existing infrastructure, and the parameters for the project. 

  • Snapt will produce a project plan based on information we collect, including:
    • The customer’s business and technical goals.
    • The customer’s key stakeholders.
    • The customer’s existing infrastructure and configuration.
    • The customer’s application architecture.
    • The customer’s existing Snapt products already deployed, and their current and target framework versions.
    • The customer’s preferred maintenance windows.
    • The customer’s policies for security and compliance.

Snapt Deployment Plan

  • Snapt will produce a project plan based on the scope of Snapt installation required, including:
    • The number and type of Snapt products to be installed.
    • Whether the customer requires a high availability (HA) installation.
    • The locations, servers, clouds, and platforms where Snapt products will be installed.

Snapt Installation and Configuration

  • Snapt will install or upgrade Snapt products, and configure them.
  • Snapt will follow the project plan produced in the Discovery and Assessment module.
  • Snapt will follow best practices to minimize downtime and ensure consistently high quality.

Snapt Installation Validation

  • Snapt will verify that the installation or upgrade was successful and that the system is functional and ready for further configuration.

Snapt High Availability Configuration and Testing

  • Snapt will ensure ADC functions continue to operate on node failure. Snapt will:
    • Deploy a minimum of two ADCs to provide Active/Standby configuration.
    • Test and document failure scenarios.
    • Ensure correct failover behavior.

Snapt Documentation

  • Snapt will deliver documentation covering all aspects of the design, implementation, environment, and operational processes for the customer’s deployment of Snapt.
  • Snapt will review the documentation with the customer.

Snapt Training

  • Snapt will hold a hands-on training session with the customer, for a maximum of 2 hours in duration.
  • Snapt will include the customer in the process of setting up Snapt products.

Snapt Certification

  • Snapt will hold additional training and assessment to certify the customer in using Snapt's products. Certification includes:
    • Snapt Nova Foundations SN101 Training and Certification.
    • Snapt Aria Foundations AS101 Training and Certification.

Snapt Performance Testing

  • Snapt will simulate normal and peak workloads based on predefined traffic patterns in non-production environments. This is to ensure the best performance and detect potential bottlenecks. Snapt will:
    • Optimize the customer’s Snapt installation.
    • Optimize the customer’s underlying architecture.
    • Produce a performance report.

Website Optimization

  • Snapt will test the customer’s website to rank its speed and efficiency. These tests check metrics that are important in measuring users' experience.
  • Snapt will recommend the optimal configuration for the customer’s Web Accelerator and caching parameters, based on our depth of knowledge and best practices.

Security Assessment

  • Snapt will assess the customer’s security posture with reference to the customer’s standards for security and compliance.
  • Snapt will scan the customer’s web applications (up to a maximum of five applications) for vulnerabilities, and produce a security assessment report. Snapt will run two scans and produce two reports, spaced six months apart.
  • Snapt will evaluate the customer’s vulnerability to the following:
    • Code injection
    • Stealing of identification
    • Poor management access control
    • Exposed configurations
    • OWASP Top 10
